I have never fished a bps rod and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they fish light or heavy on the power scale.I'm trying to decide if I should go with the medium heavy or heavy for a jig rod in the bionic blade line.I'm wanting to get a 7 footer to use as a pitching rod for 3/8 and 1/2 oz jigs.cover I fish is mostly bushes stumps and laydowns any info is appreciated.

The ones I have fished in the past which are many, have fished true to there rating. They are very durable and good sensitivity. much better than there price reflects. The BB is what I furnished my clients the last several years I ran them.

I use a Bionic blade for my cranks, and spinnerbait fishing.  Very durable, and well made rod, IMO.
