Welcome. Wonderful having a south Louisiana guy with us.

Can you add your geographical location to your avatar so we will know where you are and key in our responses to your questions specifically for the waters you fish, even if it is Audubon Park Lagoon.

Let's talk some serious talk.  Have you been to Serio's in NOLA for their fantastic poboys? If so, look up Mike and tell him Sam says hello.

What is your favorite gumbo?  I make a mean seafood gumbo with crabmeat and shrimp and lots of bay leaf. Fantastic. How does your family make your favorite gumbo?

Where did you go to high school?  I went to Fortier but it is not there anymore. Hurricane blew it away with the rest of the city.

Crabs. Have you been crabbing lately? Best friend sent a photo of his grandson with a beautiful blue crab. A monster crab. We go to a special place in south Louisiana to go crabbing and really nail those suckers. Love to go Louisiana crabbing.

And the last item, which is the most important. To constantly catch bass and other fish in Louisiana waters you have to wear purple and gold and yell "Geaux Tigers" every time you set that hook.  If you are a Toolame fan you might as well take up chess.

Super having you with us. Be sure to ask your questions and post some good recipes from your mom and grandmothers.
