The culprit incredi craw is excellent!!! This was my first trip where I really wanted to focus on throwing this bait. It worked along boulders, sandy bottom, and especially submerged grass... I was using a quantum antix with 12 lbs seaguar senshi and a 7' abu Garcia vengeance...

Anyone else fall in love with this bait?

Got them a few months back in watermelon seed. Like them a lot. How do you rig them I only fished them on a light Texas rig. They are nice and thick, would think good for flipping/punching, jig trailer. Haven't fished them without the antenna on, have you? I wanna do that and try some other colors. This summer lul might be a good time to try it.

I'm just texas rigging them with a 1/8 oz bullet weight with any 2/0 wide gap, offset worm hook... (I usually use gamakatsu EWG or BPS XPS wide superlock hooks)

The color in the photo is bama bug, I love it!

~And no I haven't fished them without the antennas.

Yeah that is exactly how I fished them.

I wanna try heavier weight and no antenaes. There are a lot of options with these to play around with, like rigging, bait modification and retrieve speed/style

All they had at dicks was watermelon and junebug when I went.

As far as retrieval, I would make my cast and let it sit for like 5-10 seconds. Then I would make a few bounces, kill it, bounce it and then kill it again...

I do that or I just reel very quickly for a few second then kill it kinda like a mud bug scurrying along the bottom then stopping.

I have some, love them, especially the green pumpkin with blue fleck color.  They are very durable. I use a Gammy Jobe hook, finesse jighead, and weightless and do quite well with them. Can't wait to try it on the Jika Rig...

I second the durability, even the appendages stay on pretty well......Jika rig now why didnt I think of that. I am gonna have to try that myself.

Pinch the curl-tails off, and T-rig it backwards with a little nail weight in the butt end. It'll shoot under docks and cover. Deadly.

Today I was throwing the same setup with the bama bug craw... The spot I was fishing today was a rocky bottom (the last time I fished the incredi craw it was in more of a mucky bottom composition) it was great... Caught 7 bass before it started raining wicked hard, the biggest was 2.60lbs... I'll post a photo later

If you dont mind, I assume a 2/0 hook EWG? Also, on a spinning rod?

Thanks

Never fished one, but they look awesome. Like someone mentioned that green pumpkin blue fleck is perfect.

Huh. I've fished it extensively had nothing but terrible results. The bait has zero action other than the curl of the tentacles. It is very dead in the water. The appendages don't move at all on a hop, I think in all the fishing I've done with it I caught one green fish.

I can think of ten baits I would throw before it. I really wanted to like the thing and have it be successful, but it was not to be.

I'm with you on this. I bought a few bags to try out last season and they did nothing to make me want to continue using them. There are way better options out there.
