I've been recommending these here for months. They are hands down the best big worm hook out there. The hook-up ratio will go up because it reduces the misses on those pesky short strikers. I use 7/0 for 10" worms and the 11/0 for 12" and bigger. Super sharp out of the package and hold up well.  Buy some and you'll never use anything else on your big worms.

I use them on 14 inch worms. They are okay for 12 inch but a little big.

The 7/0 too big for a 12"? I use them on a 10" Power Worm and they are perfect. I know it's down to personal preference but I like my worm to have as much hook as possible without affecting the action.

I bought them about a year ago but I haven't fished a big worm with them much at all.  I will have to dig them back out and give them a fair shake soon.  Until this post, I forgot I had them.

I did notice that they do a really good job of keeping those huge worms in tact longer.  So I would say they are worth it for that reason.

Thats just it.Preference. That hook is way too long IMO and eats up too much of the worm especially on a 10 incher. I can't see any reason to use the 11/0 unless one were to throw a 16 inch worm with the diameter of a soda can ;) But the bottom line is they are excellent hooks and your hookups will be darn near perfect using them.
