.44 Magnum S&W model 29.  After watching Dirty Harry movies as much as I have, I needed one.  Beretta 92fs is there too, but for stopping power around the home?  .44

Double barrel coach gun in 12 gauge, loaded with #4 buck in the kitchen, a Springfield XD40 by my bed, and 2 sociopathic pitbulls that allow me to live here in exchange for wild hog meat and air conditioning.

At least that's what I'll be holding on the way to the big safe to get an AR out.

Well if I had my choice I would keep a few choice guns laying around, but my best friend is a convicted felon (None viotent mind you), and cant be around fire arms of any kind. Our kids love him to death as he's often over at our house. So I rely on my Pittbull. Awesome family dog, an very protective of our kids. Honestly though I dont think I could picture her biting anyone because of how friendly she is, but then again... in the middle of the night.. strange person in the house.. she might rip them a new (_._) ! I live out in the country... an often leave my doors unlocked, so I reckin if someone wanted to come they could....  they would have to deal with ma dog Im sure, then me with a lewisville slugger, an then ma better half an her widow maker! lololol

Glock 17. 33 round magazine loaded with hollow points.

Glock 17 silenced. 33 round mag. If I'm feeling sneaky.

First choice/first to be grabbed

20 inch Echo Chainsaw. My wife let it move back into our bedroom. So intruders and home invaders beware. Big Papa has his baby back!

As ex-lawenforcement with 4 small children I keep all of my guns in safe locked up in various locations around the house.

The only gun that isn't is a 410 shotgun. This is my house gun. The reason being is that where it will easily damage an intruder enough, it will not penetrate through my hallway walls into my children's bedrooms. Plus, my wife and oldest child can shot it from the hip without being scared of getting hurt.

All my guns are loaded and itll be whichever one i get to first but my go to would be my sig 1911 scorpion carry with 230 federal jhp hydrashocks which stays on or near me

1187 super mag with 4Buck. I don't want to "Hurt them", "damage them enough", or "scare them". If someone is in my house they are getting 5 rounds of 4Buck and if they are still moving I'm loading up 5 more.
