junebugmn Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 Hello all :-[ Yes I know I should have known better to have those floating lanyard's on em' but I didn't > i was leaning around and over my butt seat and plunk! Away they went to the bottom of balsam lake, wisconsin! Now I have to decide what new pair of glasses to buy? I have been looking at the Wiley's, maybe look at some solar bat's too, I want some advice based on what you use for fishing glass'es, sight fishing glare recuction etc, thank's! Junebugman Quote
Nebraska Bassin Posted June 29, 2010 Posted June 29, 2010 I have polarized Oakley Half Jacket XLJs and I really like them. I can't afford to lose them, so I bought a Cablz retainer from Tackle Warehouse, and it seems like it would work pretty well if they fell off. It's also handy for if it clouds up and I need to take my sunglasses off for awhile, because I can just hang them from my neck instead of leaving them on my cap and risk having them fly off and into the water. Dockhead Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 If you were happy with the Costa's, why not just get a new pair of those? I have had a pair of Costa's for several years, and I browse other brands all the time. But really when it comes down to it I'm happy as can be with what I have, so why switch? Quote
Bass XL Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Why change brands? You've already experienced the best in sunglasses, why would you settle for anything less? Quote
okiefisher8 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I lost my oakley's a few weeks ago, forgot the were on the top of my head and cruising back to the ramp a few hundred yards away BAM! they were gone. It was upsetting, they weren't polarized but I got them as a graduation gift a few years ago. I'm thinking about getting a pair of wiley x's next Quote
Rayraff Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I got a pair of Solar Bats that are great but my favorite pair is Native SS dash. They are extremely comfortable, have a great polarization, plus if you ever scratch your lenses or break the glasses you can send them back to the factory and get a new pair. Quote
Hemi6677 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I've got two pair of the Wiley-X's that Abu Garcia offered when purchasing new reels and love them. I have a pair of P17's and the Zaks. Very comfortable and great lenses. Quote
