This may be the wrong location to ask this, I'm sorry if so.

I read and comment on this forum from my iPhone,Mostly while I am at work. I was wondering how do you post pictures from an iPhone? Or how do you resize pictures to post on here.. Every time i try it says my pictures are to large.

I upload them to photohosting website, and use the links to the resized images from there. There's a bunch of free ones, just do a quick internet search.

Yeah, I thought they may have had a way with less steps thanks though man

I use Smugmug, but it's a pay site.  It's pretty easy to to upload to the site, and get links to use here.  I also use Facebook, but I have to use the PC to get the image link.

Email them to yourself. Choose the medium option when emailing. Open email and save picture. They will fit size wise now.

How do you choose the medium option? I never knew it was an option.

When you attach the picture to your email and send it, my iPhone asks me if I want small medium or larger picture. I choose medium. I have the 4

I have the 5 and can't figure it out. It puts the picture in there but doesn't give me a size option. I'm not worried about it but things like this are good to know for the future though.

You have to use the full version

And you can attach some photos straight from your phone but some say its too big. So then you go the email route and resize it then upload it.

I always download my pics to the computer.  I'm afraid that I will lose, or break the phone, then no more pics.  I just use window paint to resize and save them.

When you do it the way everyone is talking about you are attaching(uploading I guess is the correct term) photo to the thread so you do not have to worry about that as you would pasting the img link.

I prefer to be at my pc, but there are many options.  There are quite a few free sites to upload like photobucket, just copy the url and it's sized correctly.  On google it's an easy upload to picasa, which works as well as using a ftp client and server, save the image and use paint, software program or online service to resize it.  Email worked fine when I had flip phone, that being my only option at the time, but it was a bit awkward.  If you choose to attach a photo rather than pasting a link from another site, set your camera to 3 mp and no sizing is required, I just did it as an experiment.  For computer use 3 mp should be more than adequate for a clear picture.

!! i have been looking for an idea for an iphone/android app sounds like you have a great idea! app that automatically resizes to a previously specified size, uploads to where you want and either sends you the link or some other method to use it with the push of just one button...guess doesnt get easier than that?

ill try to make this if you dont mind(if it blows up ofcourse youll be paidddd lol) let me know and ill keep you updated on it
