The best one I can think of is about catfish the size of volkswagon bugs spotted by divers at Norris Dam in TN. I think that one exists anywhere there's a deep resovoir or dam though, lol. I don't intend for this to be a "one that got away" thread but if you got a good story of legend or something, I'd be interested to hear it. LC LC Quote

One friend swears that he has a place where I am guaranteed to catch 5+ lbers all day. He always says we should plan a trip "there". Everytime I reach out to go "there" with him there is an excuse. Don't know when they are suppose to grow back. Guess any excuse for not being able to catch one is better than just "not being able to catch one". Quote

I guy from Utah even told that story, but it was a trout instead of catfish. My favorite is a story about a place with catfish so big that fishermen used live chickens for bait. Really?
