Still looking for some good, cheap, decals for the deck. I found some on ebay and what not, but $30 for a sticker, no matter how cool, is a little rich for my blood. Any suggestions?

I have the carpet graphics from e-bay. I checked two other sources and they were even more expensive. I need one more (motorguide) and I'll have enough.

I hope you are being compensated for using your boat as a bill board.Maybe I am too old, too old fashioned, whatever, but I just don't get decorating your boat with various companies logos, without being compensated.

whats the difference? I have a big motor on the back that reads Mercury. my boats side decal says Crestliner. should I take them off? I guess you won't buy a hat or tee shirt unless they are plain.

The difference is that the boat and the motor come that way, and it is more trouble than it is worth to take them off.  With product logo decals, they require a conscious decision to apply them.  That's the difference,

Oh yeah, by the way, for the most part I do only wear plain hats, my KC Royals ball cap is a singular exception.  I don't wear logo T Shirts - ever - for fishing I find the SPF 50 fishing shirts work better anyway.

Any logos on other garmets, I have been known to pull out the seam ripper and remove logos that are sewn on. (Do this before you wear or wash them)   I  understand I won't get them all, but I will get most of them.  I am not big on the idea of being an uncompensated human bill board.

I really like those Mercury decals, where did you pick those up?

Also, what is the difference between the materials used for a deck decal? I have a local guy that makes really high quality vinyl stickers but he needs to know is it just a standard type adhesive on the bottom or something else entirely?

just type in carpet graphics. he's the only seller on e-bay but they are 30.00 each. they are much thicker than regular decals. they have a no skid surface and the adhesive is really strong. I also have two smaller wired to fish decals on the back deck that were 12.00 each from the wired to fish web site.

fishes in trees, whatever man.

Yep, pretty much. My Alumacraft has no graphics on it at all, including "Alumacraft". Although I own and occasionally wear a hat or t-shirt with advertising on them, I won't pay for them... they're free. I even make the dealership take their sticker off any car I buy.

I really like some of the ones that they have for sale, I just don't know if I can really justify $30 per sticker! I wanted like 6 of them!

Carpet decal material raw is expensive. Therefore making the finished decals expensive. Size also plays a part in that.

PERSONALLY, im not huge on putting alot of money into decals and large stickers on my boat. I guess i would if ii was given a large carpet decal or a large deecal that isnt gaudy after a purchase...but there again i like clean stock looks. But i also respect others rights to be happy and to do what they want with their money and their belongings!

All that being said, your boat looks great!! If that is was makes you happy then, deck it out man!! If i ever did anything like that to my boat, it would be a very subtle.

Where can a guy get some of those bass resource decals?

Guess I'm lucky in this area. My sister has her own printing maching that can creat cutom decals, and all sorts of logos. I wanted a BassKnuckles decal, just couldn't justify the $7 for one, so she kindly made me one in like ten minutes. I know if she can find the material she'll make any logo I want.

Btw those decals look great, I can see how some don't like to "advertise" for free. Far as I'm concerned it usually answers alot of people's questions about what gear I'm using. How could you miss a giant Hook company's logo, or crank bait company? Saves time, or sometimes starts a conversation about a particular company I use.
