For the excess tackle you have that does not fit in your tackle bag/boat locker, what do you use to organize and store it back at the man-cave?  I have a lot of "overflow" tackle that I need to organize and store and am looking for suggestions.

Shelving, peg boards and Plano boxes. Everything

in mine is organized by "class". I keep oil, tools

and line in a separate tacklebox.

Man, it 's one of this two, alone or in conjunction:

1.- I 've got too much tackle

2.- I 've got a too small house

I don 't have a man-cave !  :-[

I 've got a small space for my stuff under the staircase ( aprox 1 m x 1m x 1.3 mt ), shelves, shoe box size plastic containers plus tackle boxes where I store my tackle, outboard, gas tank, lawn mower, boat seats, anchor, fishfinder, reels, battery, battery charger & gas tank & two piece rods. One piece rods are stored in their tubes in the bathroom.

They call it a "man cave" because each man gets to wallow in whatever dis-organization he wants to in his personal man cave!  Mine is "dis-organized" in piles that merge into one large pile... but the most needed items find their way to the top.  The most important organizational tool in a man cave is the door, it must be able to be closed... this according to my wife.

Cooks go-to tackle system, it holds Jigs, spinnerbaits, cranhbaits, and pretty much anything wit a hook in it, it even comes with little rings to hold bags of soft plastics.

I have a shed I keep my boat and all my fishing stuff in.  Every so often shelving goes on sale at Walmart and when it does, I buy more shelves.  Every so often plastic shoe boxes go on sale for a buck each.    I like the ones with the attatched lids.  Those seem to do the best job of keeping insects and mice out.
