Tyler j Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I have just acquired a 10ft jon boat that has been in a barn for 9 years no paint one small leak and a broken support thing in the middle it is shallow only like 12 in deep I fish small farm ponds and would like to customize it for that please help with everything from paint to possible a trailer to pull behind a atv Quote

Super User Wayne P. Posted June 25, 2013 Super User Posted June 25, 2013 A friend of mine has a boat just like that. It is made of very thin aluminum. SInce it was so lightweight, we used to use it for frog gigging It was very unstable with just the two of us with just a gig, paddle, and flashlight. Both of us are around 170#. The last time I saw it, there was a crease in the middle of the bottom from one side to the other. Don't expect much from it and you won't be disappointed with it. Quote
