Revival Posted June 22, 2013 Posted June 22, 2013 Years ago I bought some generic looking frogs but hardly ever used them. It seems like using frogs these days have gotten a lot more popular and the baits are much more realistic. I have no experience with any of the newer frogs but I want to try some out again so wondering what is your go to frog? In the meantime, I'll be watching some frog videos! EDIT: I am interested in top water frogs. Double EDIT: Disregard this thread as I now see there are enough recent threads on this subject. Initially when i searched "frogs" nothing specific came up but when i search "koppers" I have all the info I am looking for. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted June 22, 2013 Super User Posted June 22, 2013 I haven't had time yet to sit and fish frogs. One day I was watching a kid throw live frogs in a bass pond they would freeze in the water as they fell slowly. Then all of a sudden the bass would come from no where and eat them. This tells me the natural looking plastic frogs should be fished this way. I have small frogs, topwater frogs and bogbait frogs to try soon. I'm thinking with the bogbait frogs, big frog big bass? I purchased there tadpoles and frog scent too. Quote
