Super User Fishing Rhino Posted June 20, 2013 Super User Posted June 20, 2013 Actually, a 10 micron filter will remove smaller particles from the fuel than a 20 micron filter. Been a long time, but when I was a commercial lobsterman, Racor fuel filters/water separators were the preferred filters. They were not cheap, but they were very effective. As a rule, you get what you pay for. http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=6430&familyName=Racor+Outboard+Engine+Gasoline+Fuel+Filters The Academy filter may be sufficient, but I tend to err on the side of overkill when it comes to these things.
