gonna put one on my boat since i purchased bad gas and have to clean the system anyway.

 

was thinking this one as its a 20 micron vs 10 like all the others ive found.

welcome info,opinions and suggestion on a unit.

bear in mind bass pro and academy are the only close places for this kinda stuff and i want to do this saturday so i dont want to do web order unless completely necessary.

Actually, a 10 micron filter will remove smaller particles from the fuel than a 20 micron filter. 

 

Been a long time, but when I was a commercial lobsterman, Racor fuel filters/water separators were the preferred filters.  They were not cheap, but they were very effective.

 

As a rule, you get what you pay for.

The Academy filter may be sufficient, but I tend to err on the side of overkill when it comes to these things.

ill admit i had not research filter quality yet just did a quick product comparison.

it had a cheaper no name off brand look and said 10 micron then i saw the first one linked and saw it was a "name brand" and 20 micron a said its got to be better :Idea3:  haha
