If you were buying or remodeling a boat, what features would you want? What negative features would you look out for?

Also would like to have:

24-volt trolling motor system

3-Bank onboard battery charging system

Easy way to check water levels in batteries depending on their placement

Jack Plate

Two Power-Poles

Ladder to get into and out of the water

Hot Foot

Ice Chest built into the boat

Eliminating the small step so you have more fishing platform in front of the boat

Remove all fuses and replace them with circuit breakers

Drink and Cup holders by the console and up front by the electronics

Couple the electronics together for the console and front of the boat

Sidescan and Downscan electronics of your choice

Comfortable seats, like you find on Rangers

Add a plastic support to your front seat to hold an umbrella to keep rain and sun off you while fishing

Biggest live well you can have with an 800GPH pump

Water restive compartments

Place to store BSX in an compartment and speaker on trolling motor to be like KVD and the other pros

Just a few things for starters!

Also, think about where you want to store your net.

We always forget about storing the net.

Well my budget is pretty tight so im looking at older bass tracker. If any of you guys that have pics of any modifications you have done to your boats would be great if I could see them. I've got quite a few ideas so far of what i would like, how big does a rodlocker need to be for say...15 poles baitcasters and spinning rods mixed? I know that I'm goin to be limited on space but do you have any tips to maximize what I will have?

How old, and what is the length of the boat? I once owned an 80's vintage 17' Tracker that had ZERO room for rod storage.  On the other hand, I now own a 2004 Tracker TV-18 that has enough storage for fifty 7' 6" rods if you want to cram them in.
