I have always used either Gammy Octopus 2/0 or Owner Mosquito 2/0 for Wacky rigging. I was curious if anyone here uses Owner MUTU CIRCLE HOOKS. They say on the back, don't set the hook, fish lip hooks itself..anyone have experience?

I use the 2 you mentioned. I have also used a size 2 circle hook. never had any problems, and yep you don't need to really set the hook, just apply pressure. never had a fish come off using those hooks. Lately, I have been buying the owner hooks.. :P

I use circle hooks when fishing for catfish.

The hook's design puts the hook in the corner of the catfish's mouth.

I use either a weedless #1 or 1/0 for wacky rigs.  :P

+1 on the Owner Wacky Hooks.  Haven't lost a fish yet on them.  They're super sharp.  I've also used the Jackall Flick-It  with the same results.

I only use two hooks for wacky rigging. The first one is for open water fishing. It's the Gamakatsu 1/0 In-Line Circle hook. I've caught hundreds of 2 1/2 - 4 3/4 lb. smallmouth bass on this hook. And I even crimp down the barb. Rarely have lost a fish and they usually get hooked in the upper lip. No "hook set" required; just start reeling and the hook does the rest.

The second hook I use is the Gamakatsu 1/0 Finesse W.G. Weedless, which I use in heavy cover for LM bass in the weeds, or when fishing smallies along river blow downs. I crimp the barbs on these as well and have had no problems.

Either one of these hooks will help you catch a lot of fish. :P
