Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 13, 2013 Super User Posted June 13, 2013 I went 3 for 3 this morning with a couple of other strikes that didn't hook up. Gotta love my new Cabo 40, talk about a power reel, mounted on an Okuma 8' mh inshore rod amplifies the pleasure even more. Took 2 of us to lift this puppy up. 4 Quote

Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 15, 2013 Author Super User Posted June 15, 2013 excellent! man went there like a week or so ago and the water was blackkkk With all the freshwater coming out of the spillways the outgoing tide has been dark, but snook like that. The fishing isn't really as good as it's been in other years, it's just starting to get a little better. Yesterday morning ( Friday) 1 small tarpon about 15#, imo one of the more fun fish and I prefer catching juvies, 1 cuda strike but no hook up. Heading offshore this morning. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 15, 2013 Author Super User Posted June 15, 2013 Pretty much struck out...........1 blue runner and trigger, plus caught a small bonita (maybe 2-3#) trolling. Quote
