Two monsters today.

This morning on a Mizmo tube, black with red flakes.

This afternoon, NorthStar Original Swim Jig (bluegill)/ Rage Tail Menace.

Bonus: I was broken off by the afternoon fish last Friday. I was testing 4#

P-line and broke off on the knot. Disposed of the line on the reel and everything

left on the spool. Today I recovered a Sugioi #4 EWG and a Rage Tail Lizard.

Roadwarrior, I finally got my account work. This is Ryan Michael. I saw you at Grove last Saturday morning while I was there with a friend. We stayed about 2.5 hours without a bite. I'm glad to hear that you caught stuff on Sunday. What time a day did you get those on Sunday? Were you down on the far end again? Also, what size hook are you using? And thank you so much for the information the other day.

My better fish are usually caught between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. I have been having some luck

with the Rage Lizard, Senko, Mizmo tube, Norman Fat A and NorthStar Original Swim Jig with Rage

Menace and Shellcracker trailers. I'm generally using a 4/0 EWG Offset Worm Hook for most soft

plastics.

I also wanted to share a place a friend of mine from work told me about. He is from Rossville and told me he helped sponsor a fishing tournament for children a few years back and they stocked this pond. It in the back of Hunting farms development but they only built a few homes. Once you get back there it's like having your own private small lake, it's pretty big. He has told me there are plenty of cat fish in it. I fished it yesterday though without a bite even though decent sized fish could be seen jumping out of the water apparently feeding. If anyone wants to add it to your list of places to go it's quite peaceful. It's just of 57 (Poplar ave) ave you go through Rossville, you drive to the back of the development and will see the fishing sign.

Caught a nice 2.5 to 3 pound bass this morning at Grove (31 May 2014)! Caught it on a 7 inch worm using an Owner hook with weedless set up. It was the only bite I got, but it was worth it. Was on the far side of the lake near the culvert casting along the bank. Tried some other plastics, no luck.
