hooah212002 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Emery needs to be in the net Saturday. Yea, pull Rask too. Both worthless goalies. Trade Kaner while they're at it. Heck, Handzus should take Toews spot. Get out of here. 1 Quote

This really doesnt even warrant a response. Did you watch the game? Crawford has no where near the consistency of Ray. About the only tough goal crawford got was the one that came over the back. That game should of ended in regulation. I like crawford but he goes hot and cold a lot through out the season. Quote

I agree, everybody says crawford is one of the top goalies, but for being such a great goalie, he plays like garbage sometimes. there is no point in putting in emery though I don't think, he has sat for so long that I don't think its going to be worth it. he had some decent saves tonight, though Quote
hooah212002 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Crawford has no where near the consistency of Ray. Yea, I forgot. Ray Emery has been in goal the whole playoffs. Good idea to put him in in GAME 5 of the finals. Should Rask sit too? Quote
aquaholic Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Yea, I forgot. Ray Emery has been in goal the whole playoffs. Good idea to put him in in GAME 5 of the finals. Should Rask sit too? There professionals for a reason, even though they ride the bench its not like they are knocking down hot dogs and nachos and not practicing at all. The only reason ray hasnt played more games is because he is just coming off the DL. Even Pierre mentioned Ray was 17-1 in the regular season. Crawford even had an advantage knowing where the puck was going. You dont score 5 glove side goals shooting for the stick side. Even though Tuukka let in more goals, he had a much better game than crawford. Quote
basskicker98 Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Rask should NOT sit. The Hawks have a dependable backup goalkeeper. The Bruins have a good backup netminder, but he is young. Khudobin is what Rask was the year the B's won the cup last. A good goalie, but still young. I'd worry about him cracking under the pressure. Heck... I remember watching him play with the providence bruins just last year. My analysis of Crawford: Great goalie but nowhere near as good as Rask. There GAA are about the same. But if you look at the shots they've faced, Rask wins hands down. Also, 90% of the hawks goals have been off of one timers or garbage goals. When those easy one-timers happen, it's a mistake by the blue-liners to turn the puck over. Most of the time, that is. 2 mistakes have to happen for a team to score a goal. One by the defense, and one by the goalie. As it stands, Rask is pulling his weight and his defense is letting him down. The Bruins scored 5 goals glove side last night. I believe the other goals they've scored in the series have mostly been shot glove side. Crawford literally has no glove hand. The B's just need to keep putting the puck on net and good things will happen. 1 Quote
