PezJunkie Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Looking for some soft plastics lizards, what has gave you guys the most success Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted June 15, 2010 Super User Posted June 15, 2010 It's hard to beat a Zoom lizard or a Rage Lizard. Quote
grimboy Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Zoom magnum lizard in watermelon red, tail dipped in spike it.One of my favorites. Quote
Big Tom Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 I have done the best on watermelon and pumpkin zoom lizards. Berkley power lizards are a very close second. Quote
Redhed Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 zoom hands down (if i had to pick one brand) i have used a ton of other lizards and i always always always go back to zoom. the price and the quality is just right. my only back up would be for the larger lizards from Gambler called Loco lizards.. they are a big bass catching lure. i actually use them first and if they do not want a large lizard i always go to zoom Quote
Super User Shane J Posted June 15, 2010 Super User Posted June 15, 2010 No other lizard on the market has better action all around than the Rage Lizard. Great weightless around grass and shorelines, and work like magic on a Carolina rig. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted June 15, 2010 Super User Posted June 15, 2010 No other lizard on the market has better action all around than the Rage Lizard. Great weightless around grass and shorelines, and work like magic on a Carolina rig. I have been a fan of the GYCB Laminated Lizard for years. I doubt I will ever buy another. The Rage Lizard rules! 8-) Quote
Dixon Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Rage lizards all the way. Zoom is another good choice Quote
catchnm Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 It's hard to beat a Zoom lizard or a Rage Lizard. Oh yea....what he said. Quote
Super User Raul Posted June 15, 2010 Super User Posted June 15, 2010 Another Zoom lizard fan here. Quote
Blue Streak Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Nothing beats a Zoom. The Berkley lizards are real good also. Quote
Super User Munkin Posted June 15, 2010 Super User Posted June 15, 2010 Zoom is what I have always used but I did pickup some Berkley lizards cheap that I am going to try. Allen Quote
David Rangel Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Zoom Lizards too; this weekend, we had a lot of success, with 6" watermelon red chartreuse tail and side rigging.......amazing ! Other good lizards are YUM Zellamanders, those creatures work really nice too Quote
Primus Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 This may be repititive but here's another vote for Zoom, I like the 5" size for everday fishing and the 8" when after big fish. I haven't tried the Rage Lizard but that apparently is a good one as well. Quote
Andy Taylor Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 Do lizards work well all season, or mainly in the spring? Quote
Super User Shane J Posted June 15, 2010 Super User Posted June 15, 2010 They work all year. I love c-rigging a lizard when it's hot in summer on off shore points, rock piles, channels, and drop offs. Quote
florida strain Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Junebug Zoom lizards, clear and stained water-T-riged Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted June 16, 2010 Super User Posted June 16, 2010 I have both the zoom, and ragetail..I can tell you, without any doubt whatsoever..the ragetail has the BEST action, period. Flyline them over weeds.. Quote
Blue Streak Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 And there will be days when that action will be the best choice and days when it will not. Quote
wareagle83 Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Junebug Zoom lizards, clear and stained water-T-riged X2, Great color, and always catch fish with this one. Quote
junebugmn Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I like tiki lizzard's, rage's work good weightless in heavy vegetation and around pad's and such, chomper's are very good but they aren't durable enough, but bass love that chomper's scent!! junebugman Quote
Redhed Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Junebug Zoom lizards, clear and stained water-T-riged my favorite color as well... when the water is clearer and not biting the junebug i put on a watermelon red or watermelon... sometimes cotton candy or cotton candy red.. all good colors Quote
