Havent had a lot of time to really keep a Buzzfrog wet, but I love the action and the concept.  I really think that in a couple weeks when our water temps in KY get up around 60 then the buzzfrog will truly shine.  Has anyone fished them much?  If so, any good sized fish?  What color did you use (I just bought one pack, and it was whatever color looked most like an actualy frog to me [Chartruese belly])?

Yes they work good there are many ways work one.  I like to throw them in the slop and work them into openings.    I use Zooms horny toad and I like the green pumpkin with red flakes.  Also a tip here wait until you feel the fish before you set the hook or you might miss him  Oh and welcome aboard

I had some luck with those last year. You can do the regular topwater and if they don't hit that then buzz it to some cover and let it sink if you don't get a bite I give it a couple lite tugs and let it sink again worked good for me last year. Also I used the black ones with the yellow belly but the  chart, belly was my best producer.hope this helps you out.

AAAAAAAAA!!! I hate buzzfrogs. I was stoked with the first bag i bought, until i tried them on the water. Their action is terrible! It just looks like your dragging anything on the surface, no real characteristic action, and they are very touchy on how fast you retrieve them. I gave those away without a thought about it. Try zoom horny toads and uncle josh bull ribbits. These are some killer baits.

I bought some of the poppin ones.  Looked good on the shelf but i agree they really don't have much pizzaz.

I'll stick with my horney toads.

i too tryed the yum buzz frogs .... didnt like them ,, they seem to want to flip over or even run on there sides ..... id recomened the ribbit ,,, gamblers cane toad ,,, zooms horney toad ,,,and the sizmic toad ... eich of these frogs has there own different actoin .... the ribbit can be fished real slow ,,, where the horney toad needs to be buzzed pretty quick ..... the sizmic has a nice soft popping sound and seems to be more of a finesse ( smaller frog ) at any rate .... these frogs will catch bass .... the olny frog i really didnt like ( as far as action ) was the yum buz frog ....

DITTO.  I was just about to post almost the exact same thing.  Also, pick up some Horny Toad hooks. No matter which brand you choose they will make the frogs last much, much longer.
