dday07 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 Early summer for me means i can give my plastics a rest and breakout reaction and topwater lures. what are your fav. lure choices this time of year? Quote
Tartan34 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 My go-to right now has been a Pop-X in Threadfin Shad. It has been killing them, even in high-sun clear daytime. Fishing this in 20'+ of gin clear water will bring up big bass. And it isn't nearly as boring as dragging a Carolina rig 1 Quote
TNBassin' Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I've been doing well with lipless cranks and jigs so far. Not a thing on plastics yet or topwater. Quote
TexasRigger21 Posted June 7, 2013 Posted June 7, 2013 I like to use a Rebel Pop-R or a yello spro frog. Sometimes the bites are few and far between, but the fish are high quality. Quote
BaconStealer303 Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Its been all jigs for me, flippin into heavy cover Quote
