Maybe you and I are a little different but I prefer to be sponsored by companies that I believe are the best at what they do.

Otherwise why use them?

That is a great theory. But how can you be sure Wiley x is the best if you have never had a pair of Costas? Norhing wrong with being paid to advertise a product, but when you start throwing "the best" around it diminishes your statements IMHO.

I have not had a pair of Costas but I have had several other brands and my Wiley X are by far the best.

Good Grief!

In my original statement, I thought it was pretty clear that I meant the best out of the brands I had used. I have obviously not tried every single pair of glasses in the entire world and have no opinion on them.

Just seems like a conflict of interest. What seems like an innocent post is really just a advertisement for someone who sponsors you. Thats all my point was about.

I am not sure what the conflict of interest would be but I respect your right to an opinion.

Went fishing today and got to borrow a pair of Wiley X P-17's with the Green Emerald lens.  Great pair of glasses. The lens was very easy on the eyes and we were in bright sunlight a good part of the trip. Excellent polarization. I only have some Cocoons and my prescription polarized to compare but I could see much better under the surface.  The P-17 frames were a little small on me so  I'll need to look for a larger frame but I'm leaning towards Wiley X with this lens.

That green emerald lenses are very nice. I like how the color looks on me and I like how well things look through them.

Good looking glasses.Piqued my interest. Have a fathers day gift card at Amazon so i checked there and they come in under $75.00. Might be forced to give em a try. Just had cataract surgery so I'm in need of a good pair of shades. Thanks for the tip

I'm now the proud owner of a  pair of P17's with the green emerald lens. My buddy made an offer I couldn't refuse ( free ) and I wore them fishing again today.  VERY lightly scratched but they make a great sunglass for fishing.  If I were going to wear them as my regular sunglasses, they would be a little on the small side but for fishing they work out fine, especially with a hat. Now if I could just get the fish to bite............

I don't have that particular style (yet) but I know some guys that have them and they have nothing but good things to say.
