I'm pretty good ar forums but I can't figure a few things out.

1) I was looking at a pretty old thread about guarateed ways to catch bass.  It had many pages and was started back in 2010 or 11.  Now I can't find it.  I have searched but no luck.  It was about fishing Senkos 10-15 feet from shore very slowly.

2)  I see people talk about making stickies or things to that effect.  I see helpful threads from time to time and want to save them but I don't see how.

thanks for your help

Yes, I did read the help and FAQ and it did not help me.

Thanks Road Warrior.  I knew it was you but I could not remember your name.  I just remembered you were holding 2 fish.

1. The search box only searches on more recent threads. To search for older threads, click the little gear box to the right of the search box.  You'll then be be presented with more advanced options, including the ability to search by older dates.

2.  You can "save" threads you want to "bookmark" by clicking the "Follow this topic" button on the upper right of each thread.  "Stickys" are "pinned" topics at the top of each forum, and can only be controlled by admins and moderators.

Hope that helps!

for saving helpful threads, i have an email i send to myself with subject "bassresource", when i find a new thread i need to save, i look for that email, click "resend" and send it again to myself, updated... there i copy the address of the thread.. it may not be the best way, but works for me, and it has helped me find old threads very quickly when i need to read them again...

Awesome!  Thanks.  I'll start using the "Follow this Thread" right away.

Am I missing something? I used the follow this topic button on a thread I would like to revisit, but can't find how to find it now.
