What Should I Use

Tonight I'm going to try to go night fishing. Nothing new. However, I'm a little bit confused because it has been raining for the last few days and the water has been stirred up quite a bit. I need something thats completely weedless, and my normal go to nightbait is a frog, but I know from before that cloudy water often turns off the topwater bait. Spinnerbaits are off limits due to the amount of vegetation in the water. Any suggestions? I live in Orlando Florida, and the water temperature is around the 70's

Bangin' all I can think about is bringing those big, fluffy marshmallows and feed the alligators.

 

Don't worry about you seeing them. They will see you.

 

Let's think this thru: Night. Dirty Water. Front passing through. Hurricane passing through. Water moccasins passing through. Animals looking for high ground due to the rain.

 

How about a black and blue Chatterbait or a black and blue swim bait? You can also throw a Zum Dinger or a Senko in black and just let the current move it around.

 

With the dirty water you may want something that puts off vibes, like an Xcalibur (less hang ups than a Rat-L-Trap) One Knocker.

 

Even a spinnerbait in black or blue may work.

 

Take your night arsenal with you and see what you can scrounge up.

 

And don't forget to get a lot of those white, fluffy marshmallows.

I would try to find a way to throw a big black spinnerbait with a big thumping Copper Colorado blade.

If there is too much vegetation then the spinnerbait would be out of the question for me.  The Colorado blades would get too many weeds on each cast.  I would go with a junebug UV Speed Worm or Black Curly Tail Ol' Monster.  Texas Rigged and swim it up, in, around and through the cover.

Try a 5" Reaction Innovations Boom Boom Tube. Stick one of those plastic rattles with the hole inside the bait, texas rig it and run hook through the hole in rattle so it stays put. Use a magnum Stand up jig or peg a bullet weight on it. Drag along the shore and shake the ***** out of it. Use a dark color and Spike the tentacles with Chartreuse if there's any light source like a light pole or dock lights.

Have you ever tried hollow body frogs with rattles inside?  Works for me.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to take the jig route, and use my black and blue strikeking rattle jig, and throw a creature bait on the back, if that doesn't work, I just picked up a pack of Junebug Horny Toads. Thanks for the feedback guys!

Big black spinner bait I like the midnight special.. then I take a 10 inch big black worm curley tail of course. get some scissors cut in all the way up till about half way up the worm maybe alil more.. then put it on your trailer hook.. that's what I do.

Black, and blue chatter bait

Black and blue jig with rattles.

Try these with some pork trailers I like them in dirty water

Top water

Jitter bug worked till you find the retriveal speed they want..

Hollow body frog with rattles worked around cover..

Try a t-rigged worm..

Wacky rigged black..

Was going to put this I've seen some.other guys say this too.. also a guide I've spoken to said he swares by it.. any clue why the bass like white baits at night?
