All the reviews I see online for them are pretty good. Depending on which one it is I did see something about needed to change out the seat on one model as they were awful.Other than that looks good. Not to hijack your thread or anything but I'm actually thinking about getting one soon myself so if anyone has any actual personal experience on them that would be great. I'm looking at getting a F&S Eagle Talon sit on top Kayak.

I've had my emotion kayaks renegade xt for 1 1/2 years now and I got to try out my buddy's f&s sot talon the other day and man what a difference.

My kayak is 10' long and 36" wide. His is 12' and 31" I think wide. His was way faster and got pushed around by the wind a heck of a lot less. I'm good at standing in my kayak and his was just as easy.

However the seat was not nearly as comfortable as mine and I'm not talking about the padding but about the way the kayak is molded. There's really no lower back support like on mine. But I'd be willing to try and mickeymouse my own seat in that one if I had it.

I don't know what it's like to load and offload from a vehicle because I don't own it but I know it's like 25lbs heavier than mine and that could be rather heavy if you didn't have a truck bed to load it in.

All in all I think it's a pretty nice kayak but when I buy my next one I'm aiming at that new Native slayer 12 :eyebrows:

Kool the only thing that worries me then is the width as I'm a rather big guy. The seat thing doesn't bother me I can deal with it until I can get a new seat to put in it. And I have a truck and plan on transporting them in the bed anyway. So thanks a ton for the info.

No prob. I think you'll be fine with the seat width. If you're really concerned, they'll let you take the kayak down and sit in it at the store to get an idea. I would actually suggest that actually. I did that with mine.

Good luck!
