Texasangler22 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Here recently iv been fishing with some "YUM 6" worm soft bait" and iv been getting big bites! Well I bought some F2 ferocity attractent spray, well it turns out it was craw dad scent! I was wondering can I still put it on my worm softbaits or will it cause some sort of a hesitation from the fish? Seeing a worm, smelling a craw dad!? Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted June 5, 2013 Super User Posted June 5, 2013 One of the main things (IMO) scents do are cover up human odors. Gasoline from filling up, cigarette smoke, soap...etc. Anything natural that will help mask those things should improve your fishing. I wouldn't hesitate to use a craw scent on a worm or crankbait or any other bait. Quote
LARGEMOUTH ANGLER Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 it don't matter, as long as they smell that scent, that's like smelling a bar b q to them, you can put that on everything. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted June 5, 2013 Super User Posted June 5, 2013 Can bass actually smell that? I think the scent is for when they dobm bite your bait "worm" that a bass with hold on to it longer.. intaead of spit it out like there doing to you.. I spray that stuff on jigs and worms... Quote

Kyle Mahaffey Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I smoke so I use something to cover it up. But couldn't tell you if it works or not. I think it works so I use it. Quote
TALON7215 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Yeah, I agree with the general opinion. I use the kickin bass scent on everything in my bag. Whether it makes a difference or not I haven't been able to determine just yet. My oldest son smokes and he is always with me when I go, that's the main reason I use it. Quote
