CAdeltaLipRipper Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Took my new Jackson Cuda 12 and GoPro out on our river (The stanislaus) for both their maiden voyages a week ago. I know its not a bass but still a cool video haha you'll see me rush the fish into the boat because....well you'll see lol. Quote
G3Steve Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Awesome! Was that a topwater strike? Looks like a splash in the background when you got the hit. Quote
Super User Tuckahoe Joe Posted June 4, 2013 Super User Posted June 4, 2013 Cool vid and a pretty nice trout too! Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted June 4, 2013 Super User Posted June 4, 2013 Good man ... not even crashing into a tree was going to stop you from landing that fish. LOL Nice Vid Quote
aqualkinbush Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 double hook up lol, trout and a stick fish to boot! Quote
CAdeltaLipRipper Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 Nah it wasn't a top water strike. It was on a kastmaster but It was only a couple inches under water when the fish hit. I got the Hero 3 White because I decided that was good enough but I still need to buy some more batteries and mounts. I spent like 300 on the camera and memory card lol. I've got more footage with it too its pretty awesome so far I'm really happy with it. Have yet to take it bass fishing yet though. So far I've taken it fly fishing and then on that trip there that you guys just saw Quote
Chuck D Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 That's great. Love the tree too. Maybe consider keeping a landing net handy when light lining; prevents broken hearts and keeps the blood pressure regulated. Nice job! Quote

Ya if you watch the video you can see after I pull the fish out the tree knocks it back In the water haha. That is a good point I will probably keep my fly fishing net inside my kayaks center console haha that would have helped Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted June 5, 2013 Super User Posted June 5, 2013 Congrats on getting your first fish on film with the go pro. Got to admit the tree part gave me a good laugh Quote
HeavyDluxe Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Classic video, dude... thanks for having the sense of humor to share it. Quote
