I've been waiting 6 months for them to be released. Here in CT with all the draconian laws its hard to find anything never mind a popular gun. Have not had any FTF or FTE even shooting cheaper rounds. It does a low bore axis like a Glock and will pinch you between tthe thumb and forefinger if you have bigger hands. and do not take care to grip properly. IMO it is another quality product from Springfield. Quote

Last time I checked it was a 6 month wait at all the gun shops around here. Quote

Last time I checked it was a 6 month wait at all the gun shops around here. Yea. Last time I was at Cabelas the guy told me the Springfield Armory handguns have been on backorder for over 8 months. They get in "surprise" packages meaning they have no idea what they're getting sent in. Little strange if you ask me. Anyway, if our great state of IL (sarcasm) sets some laws and gets this CCW going, this was my gun of choice. I originally wanted the full length all black XDM .45 but if I'm going to buy a handgun might as well be something for CC. My brother has the XDM .45 in Bitone and it's a sweet gun. Quote
