Dont skimp dude. I wear Costas. And i will not look back, but i do own some less expensive glasses that i feel good about. Calcutta sunglasses are great for 25bucks. The new S11s seem nice for 40. I own the calcuttas, dont have S11s ...yet... If you cant afford Costa or Oakley, look at the WileyX glasses or SolarBat glasses, they seem like they would be great and are in the middle price range wise between the S11 and Costas.

What brand of glasses do you use?  I don't want to spend $200 if I dont have to.  Are the more expensive one's really worth it?

Costa. I didn't want to spend the money either, but last year I did, and I haven't regretted it for a minute.

Look, buy Costas on ebay from a legit seller (99.7% rating and up is my thing) and you'll pay a LOT less than full retail (like at BPS).

I bought my 580g glasses via eBay for like $160.

I see no sign of Costas on their website.

You have to call them ask for Brian.

I've been using the S11's this season and am pretty happy with them so far.  I use to own a pair of Ray Ban's until they went overboard.  The only thing I've noticed is weight and less clearer the lens are on the S11 vs my old RB's.  The S11's are a good buy at $40, but a GREAT buy at $25 when it's on sale.

if you dont need prescription sunglasses youre lucky and have a much wider variety of selection as far as price goes. i got a pair of prescription ray bans that cost me an arm and a leg lol. i believe they cost around $350-400...

Well dang it...something else I gotta hide from the wife...lol

Think ill try the Costas. What color lens is best? I fish mostly clear water lakes. Light stain from time to time, but many times gin clear highland reservoirs.

Green mirror with the amber tint with the 580 lenses or silver mirror with copper base.

Why green? Also don't see any 580g's on eBay in green with amber tint.

the green mirror is amber/copper on the inside and green mirror on the outside

https://www.costadelmar.com/perform/color

click each color and it will tell you what its good for and what color is on the inside and outside

like the green mirror has a copper/amber inside so when you look through it its amber not green and the blue mirror is grey inside etc
