Bobby Uhrig Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Well I have been very busy like the Santa's Elves here. I have been busy with new ideas and concepts of new products to be introduced at ICAST this year. So who wants to see some new products ?? Hopefully ya like what I will show - Actually I ve been testing them and catching bass big time. As most of you know -If it didn't catch fish -I wouldn't waste my time developing them because I use everything I make. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted May 31, 2013 Super User Posted May 31, 2013 Post a video on the MegaBug. I think a lot of members have overlooked this bait. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted May 31, 2013 Super User Posted May 31, 2013 I'm up for seeing new products! Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted May 31, 2013 Super User Posted May 31, 2013 I'd like to see some Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 OK heres one The 3 inch MegaBug If you likes the 4 inch MegaBug -the 3 inch is loaded with action but in a smaller finesse version. As you see there are only 2 leg appendages and not 4 like its bigger brother. This bug has caught me numerous bass over 5lb so far this year and Ive only been out with it a few times. Smallmouth also love this bait- It matches up very well with the smaller sized Shak-e 2 heads. This is great around rock piles and great for flipping into grass. They will be available shortly in all of your favorite colors. 2 Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 Ok heres the next group- For all of you that love EWG Hooks- After a year of making -Out comes the NEW PRO MODEL SHAK-E 2 HEADS WITH EXTRA WIDE GAP HOOKS Ranging from sizes from 1/8 to 2 OZ- various colors for all types of conditions . They are great for larger meatier baits and are like nothing you've ever seen as a swim bait hook. The center of gravity is low and acts like a reverse crankbait bill giving your baits a very unique body roll. Something that will trigger strikes more often than standard heads and hooks Click once on image 3 Quote

Super User Felix77 Posted May 31, 2013 Super User Posted May 31, 2013 Sweet! What else you got!! Quote
Kyle Mahaffey Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 If you need testers I will be one so send them my way. Quote
5dollarsplash Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Glad to see the 3" Bug. Up north here a lot of times downsizing is necessary and it feels like burning money trimming down a larger bait. These look to be the perfect size. 1 Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted May 31, 2013 Super User Posted May 31, 2013 Very cool! And that 2 oz head is massive. Jeff Quote
PABASS Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Bobby question for you, do you find that the evos tend to double hook bass? I used an evo2 jig recently and it double hooked the bass and I was impressed. Little disappointing that the paint is all chipped after a single use however. Quote
lavbasser Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Mr. Uhrig, do you develop or create most of your new products? I have used Cavitrons and Mega Strike for years and admire what you have been able to accomplish with a small company. Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted June 3, 2013 Author Posted June 3, 2013 Lav Basser. yes I do. Its all done by what I believe to be a necessity or an alternative to what Ive been using. Just something that I see that needs to be created. I have tested everything on the water before it goes into production. I always say that it has my name on it so why would I create something I have no confidence in. I would do it to the customers and especially my design reputation. 1 Quote
