They are a very cool bait. Most complaints come from them ripping. If you know how to use a lighter and a butter knife, or have the 3:16 glue, you can stretch many, many fish out of these baits.

Word on the street is that they work pretty well on muskie and pike too

Aaron, have you seen them in real life? They are HUGE.

I will probably get one before this summer. ;D

I don't know if I'd classify them as Huge, but..keep in mind they weight 1.2 oz..which is perfect for my rig.. ;)

They are MUCH larger than the average frog bait.

Never thought about that. I bet they would freakin' kill in the pencil reeds.

Dangit bizz, you just costed me about thirty bucks.

HAHA. Thats what I do. Apologies. ;D ;D

I expect a thank you when it works though, lol

10-4.  If I catch a PR, you'll have a 3:16 gift card on the way.

I have fished them for a couple of years. I have had some success but not what I had hoped for. They do tear & I use clear PVC glue to repair them when I return to camp. Use a small brush instead of the dobber that comes in the glue. They are 7" long so you need some heavy gear. I use a 7 1/2', 6 power rod with a fast tip & a Shimano Calais DC reel spooled with Yo-Zuri 30lb Hybrid. I do catch bigger fish on them, but I tend to use the Boze frog more as I catch more fish on them & the bigger gators tend not to mess with them. ;)

i agree i bet they would be a great muskie bait...

as said before it is definitely way above your "avg" sized frog. in person they seem huge.

havent used them but when i felt them i would have to say they definitely seem like theyd tear very easily.. and if it was a muskie.... kiss that puppy goodbye  ;D

I didn't really care about these all that much until fourbizz mentioned that they could be a productive Musky bait.  Now I need them even though I have only went Musky fishing one time and it was a pretty big failure.  I will go again.  I wouldn't mind getting these for the fall.

I have two packs I bought four years ago and have never used them. They just look so big. The hook they come with is a monster too. The video got me.

Thanks all, against my better judgement I just ordered some, all that talk of a musky bait and it got to me.
