New Bass Man Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Question about chatterbait-type blades. Curious if any of you use different size in blades for different conditions? I use both sizes but tend to use the bigger sizes when fishing dirty water. I feel the vibration better with the bigger sizes. I wonder how much does that make a different in attracting bass? I notice commercial applications tend to use the smaller size. Curious what your experience has been? Thanks! Ray Quote
PondBoss Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Personally I ordered a bunch of the big one for a bait that I make. Wish I had gotten the smaller one. The bigger one creates way to much lift (again my opinion). Fishing a 5/8oz head and slow rolling it under the surface almost. It does create a heck of a lot of vibration though so I could see it being effective in dirtier water. Quote
New Bass Man Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 That lift is good when using heavier trailors. Quote
