When it comes to soft plastics are you a one brand fisherman example: only use Zoom products, or do you diversify?

I really like Zman products and I am thinking of being a one brand guy.....

what's the point of limiting yourself to one brand? you are missing out on a lot. I prefer zoom and berkley powerbait but use many others as well

I use mainly Strike King plastics. I do use alot of Berkely, and Zooms too. I really can't stick to one brand as Strike King doesn't make everything I need or like. I wish they did as I love the coffee rage tail plastics.

Heh. I have a bunch of different brands of soft plastics laying around, but there's only a few that I really like. So do I have brand loyalty, yep. I fish what works best for me.

Not really, I do love Senko's. dingers and Fat Ika's. I use one of those three 90 percent of the time. Also love BIG curly tail worms. Any brand will do.

jeez why hamstring yourself

I ise rage tail, reaction innovations, zoom, northland, yamamoto, berkely, SK, jackall, yum, bps, and a few others

each company makes a bait that I really like

examples are I use rage shellcrackers and anacondas, reaction innovation skinny dippers and beavers, yamamota fat ikas, berkely chigger craws, pitboss and sickfish, SK rodents.

never be brand loyal, find what works best for you and dont be afraid to try something new from someone else

A pretty used term in the bass fishing community is "it's all about confidence" if a certain bait or brand gives you that why not stick with it?

Though when I'm hard up for a bite I try and throw something outside of that zone and sometimes get one; so i like to keep my options open.

I do have more off say Havoc or Powerbait stuff ... But as others have said, I buy what I think will work first and go for brand second. I also like to try new stuff by small firms. Lots of exciting gear out there.

I'm pretty much Rage Tail all the way.  It's my confidence bait.

BAM!

my top 3.

but I wouldn't ever limit myself to any particular brand. everyone has something different to offer. I stick to these brand because of the action, sizes, and colors. If I know zooms junebug red is a good color, its the same in a worm or brushhog. but not the same pour in another brand, if even available.  Strike kings senko in watermelon red isn't a match to gary yamamotos, its lighter, so In really clear water, I prefer the SK over GY, but most waters I fish in aren't crystal clear, and the GY has better action. For low viz water, I prefer a darker bps pumpkin. Its a color and worm that works, and cheaper. These 3 brands have almost everything I like to use, but if I ever have a situation where maybe I could have had a few more bites with this tail, or color from someone else, better believe Imma grab a pack for next trip despite the brand name.

I have my favorites but I have tons of different brands of baits because they are not all the same. Even the same colors will be different throughout different brands. I use watermelon/red Zoom trick worms a lot and catch lots of fish but don't have near the success with the same color in the Netbait T-mac that I do so well with in other colors. If I didn't try different brands I may not have ever gained any confidence in that color bait.

It's availability for me, my catch rate doesn't seem to differ much from brand to brand.  I don't use too much in the way of soft plastics, just don't care for jig or worm fishing, but flukes are a real mainstay for me. I probably by Zoom 90% of the time as can get them anyplace at any time of the day.  I am bit fussy for my snook, I use nothing but DOA 5.5" jerk shads, hard to find that size in the store so I order direct from DOA, I only use pearl with a red tail.  As fussy as I am they do not catch more fish than Zoom bass style flukes, other guys catch as many fish as I do.  Little trick we do here is securing the fluke to a jig head with a plastic cable tie.

I use all brands but mainly stick with gambler and reaction innovation soft plastics.

I use a lot of brands. Yamamoto, Berkley, Kinami, Reaction Innovations, YUM, Strike King, etc....

Will use what ever puts them in the boat...

I use whatever I think may catch the fish. I have so many different brands of plastics that its not even funny. brand loyalty doesn't apply to me every lure will catch a fish that's why companies put out a product.

I have a lot of different brands, but if you crack open my worm binder I have more Rage Tail baits than anything. I have a ton of Zoom and Yum baits as well.

I've found the brand I like in each category and stick to that.  I've found that I like the action of these the best, and have a couple of colors I stick with.

Zoom=Lizards&Worms

Reaction=Dippers

GYCB=Senkos

Rage Tail=Grubs

I would not limit myself to using one product.  The 3X Elaz Tech plastic is good, but others will out produce it sometimes.

I agree, I use all kinds of plastics, each for a different kind of lure. Netbait for jig trailers, Zoom for trick worms and brush hawgs, BPS brand for tubes, GYCB for senkos, powerbait for ribbontails, and Havoc when i am feeling cheap hahaha.
