ib_of_the_damned Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Does Mend-It work on all soft plastics, including the Elaztech(Strike King's 3X plastics, ZMAN)? Quote
Mattlures Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 Ha Ha you would think I would know that answer to that one. I never tested it on that 3x plastic. My guess would be no. Its a completly different compound. You should go on the Mend-it site and ask Will if he has tested it on the 3x stuff. One sure way to fnd out is to test it yourself. Quote
Skinnyh2ofishin Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 I agree with Matt. I haven't tried Mend-it on the elaztech plastics either, but then, I've never had a need to with the elaztechs. As durable as they are already I just don't bother trying to extend their life any extra. Like Matt said, try looking on their website, or e-mailing their customer service. I will say it has worked on every other plastic I've tried it on. The heavier the salt content (senko type baits) the harder it is to get it to hold as well, but it still works well enough to fish the bait again. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted June 8, 2010 Super User Posted June 8, 2010 No, it doesn't. I tried it after reading this post. I cut a lizzard in half and all the Mend-It would do is create a film with no affect on the Elaztic. Quote
