thehooligan Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 For that price range id look for an older model stradic. 1 Quote
Super User Chris at Tech Posted May 23, 2013 Super User Posted May 23, 2013 I've got a Daiwa Tierra 2500 in the flea market. I don't think there would be any issues getting parts or support in the event it's needed Quote
Hyrule Bass Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 for $50-$100 you can buy a good enough NEW reel that will last you a longtime... Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted May 24, 2013 Super User Posted May 24, 2013 for $50-$100 you can buy a good enough NEW reel that will last you a longtime... Absolutely ! There is no need to rebuild a spinning reel that's in good working order. For 50 bucks or so you can get a new sedona or president that's going to be smooth and should perform well for many years. I've got quite a few sub $100 reels that have been going strong for years, all sizes of fish in both fresh and saltwater with no more than drop of oil every now and then. Quote
