I just recently bought a W&M Skeet Reese crankbait rod. Its the S glass rod. Man has it made a difference in my crankbait fishing. I catch 10 times more fish now than before. The feel of the rod has made a big difference in my crankbait fishing. I never thought that equipment made that much of a difference. Boy was I wrong. Anybody use a certain rod for crankin thats better than the W&M?

Never used that rod but i really like my Kistler Helium micro guide crankbait rod.  I totally agree that having a crankbait specific rod makes a world of difference.

I use the St. Croix Mojo. I like it, but I'm not blown away by it.

I won't crank with anything BUT cranking specific rods anymore. I use a 7' MH/Mod St Croix Mojo for shallow cranks, and lipless crank, and a 7'10" St Croix H/Mod Legend Tournament for my deep cranks.

Lamiglas SR705R in my opinion one of the best crankbait rods ever made. To bad they don't make them anymore.

I just now picked up a dedicated cranking rod. Settled on a Crucial.

I'm getting the St. Croix Legend Turnament Small Cranker here soon just for cranking. I'll come back and let you know once I fish it.

Dobyns 684cb here. I love it! If I could throw crank baits 24/7 I would. Best fishing investment I've made Imo. I have it paired with a Chronarch 201e5 and 17# Abrazx

I have the Wright & McGill Rick Clunn square bill rod, it's kinda awesome other than being heavy it's amazing!  I have a few other M action graphite rods that I like a lot too, but the glass just wins.

I also got the  W&M Rick clunn s glass rod last year and I absolutely love it.  Paired it with a  PQ and I find myself finding a reason to use the rod.
