Started fishing couple years ago, have a few rods....need some advice.

Fenwick Smalmouth crankbeit rod with Curado G.

Cant make the reel sit tight on my rod (the reel is moving slighty duing retrieve), should I send it to fenwick...it's under warranty.

Make a shim for it. Last time I had that problem I cut a small strip from a soda carton. Have stopped using that particular rod, but it worked like a charm while I still used it. I checked the forum and seems like it is a fairly common occurrence with various fixes. Good luck

Maybe put a little electrical tape or gaffers tape around the feet of the reel
