Hey guys I have an iPod I take out on the water and I like to listen to it when my confidence is low or i feel out of my rhythm I think it helps me a lot

And even gives me a tempo when using poppers or walking top water baits my most productive retrieve is to George straights all my exes live in Texas haha

Was wondering if anyone else does this?

Never bass fishing, I have done it on river banks fishing for cats at night with a group of friends though.

I use my iPhone and a Jam Box to listen to music quite a bit. Just depends on my mood. Sometimes i like music and sometimes I like the sounds of my surroundings.

I'de say 15% of my time on the water is musical.

Bank fishing I normally don't listen to music, but when in the boat I will normally play some CW music.  BTW normally I am in the boat by myself so the music is my company.

I do the same thing when I'm out fishing by myself. Although my music is a little more intense than George Straight. Try walking the dog to some Godsmack lol!

I am very fortunate to be able to fish places that provide an abundance of "Natural Music", day and night.

Anything else, would just be noise.

Nope. Only time I listened to anything (once) was an NFL game while on the water. Prefer to be with the "noise" of nature...

depends. if i am on my uncles dock at SML then i will be playing music. most of the time im night fishing there, music helps drown out any creepy sounds and entertains me when the fish arent biting...

I always listen to music.  Mostly country or classic rock.  Unless the family is with me.  Then they want to listen to the top 40 type stuff.

When I take the kids fishing they bring some music.  They don't get so bored if they're not catching.

A radio is the one feature I wish I had on my boat. I have considered installing one. If I had one I'd play Stranglehold every time I launched! It wouldn't help me, but it would be nice.

No music for me, but I see nothing wrong with it.

After all, fish and music have something in common.  Both have scales.  :eyebrows:

When i am fishing by myself i always take the iPod shuffle and keep it at a volume that i can hear the music and still hear stuff going on around me.  If i am fishing with friends then the music stays home.

Im obsessed with music. Ive been playing guitar since I was 6. Music means a lot to me. For some reason though when Im out fishing I prefer the sounds of nature. The birds, the bugs, frogs, all that good stuff. Its peaceful and relaxing.

Just depends on the day. I've had some very productive days with an ear bud in. It helps me to stay focused and keeps me from being too antsy
