ChasingBass Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Hey guys, I want to start fishing with swimbaits because I hear you can catch monster bass more often with them. Any good suggestions for swimbaits that work really well? Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 Need to identify hard or soft body swimbaits and even sizes as well. Quote
Super User Hooligan Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 Hudds, 22nd Century, Mattlures, Roman Made, Castaic, Spro, Berkley... All make good baits. In a hard bait, I'm in love with Roman Made Trick and the Mattlures Hardgill right now. 2 Quote

Super User deep Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 I'd pick one or two "proven" baits, and learn them inside out. Catching big bass isn't exactly easy, and there's no magic bullet that I know of. 1 Quote

Spend the money up front, don't go necessarily "cheap" as it will save you money and headaches in the long run. Quote
