Super User flyfisher Posted May 18, 2013 Super User Posted May 18, 2013 Well my Subaru basically blew the motor a week ago while I was 300 miles away visiting my parents up in philly. Long story short, I took this as a sign to get back to a wrangler as I sold my old 95yj right before my son was born nearly 3 years ago. Anyways here she is....2012 jeep wrangler unlimited Sahara. Decided to just go with a roof rack for hauling the kayaks around which is on order. 2 Quote

He can have one after I'VE had one! We picked up an '03 Tundra after our 93 Corolla got totalled. I haven't driven a pickup truck since the early 90s. Man, I've been missing a lot since those days. Kayak transport is nothing anymore. Hoist into the truck bed, couple tie downs, and she's secured. LOVE it. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 19, 2013 Author Super User Posted May 19, 2013 My plan is this will be my son's jeep in 13 years after we spend time rebuilding it together in about 10 years or so. This is my third jeep and 2nd wrangler. I still miss my 1971 wagoneer that i bought for next to nothing with 40k miles on it but unfortunately i didn't have the mechanical experience i do now and sold it when i had some problems rather than fixing it.....
