I just started using it, this morning was my first time, and I used the green, worked very well for me, in super clear water.

I have the green in 12lb and the smoke color in 6lb.   I don't fish any lakes that are super clear so it doesn't matter to me.

It REALLY doesn't matter, but here are some suggestions:

Gin clear water:  Green

Stained:  Purple Smoke

Clear (white):  Silver reels because it looks cool!

Green. Prefer the way it blends with the waters I fish.

Don't like the line. Its nowhere near as soft or limp as other lines and it stays coiled a lot.

12# green for me....in super clear water.  I use it for everything except my Jig rod.

I use the green...but only as color coding (I'm not convinced that line color makes that big of difference).

Green = YZ

Clear = nylon mono (and sometimes flouro...)

I've used smoke and green. Both worked well in the stained waters I fish.

Green if I can get it, my sight is quite poor and clear line dissapears from my eyesight very quickly, so in order to see the line it needs to stand out from.

I use 8# mist green in very clear water,have not had any problems.Very strong line.

I love the 12# in clear. Awesome sensitivity when used as a leader with 30# PP.

My green is 10lb and my white is 12lb. That's how I remember which one is which. LOL
