How and when do you use Fire tiger colored baits?

The above, or around grass, or when the bass are feeding on bluegill.  There's good reason why fire tiger has been popular for decades.

I have a couple of spinnerbaits that i've changed the blade colors to firetiger along with the firetiger colored skirts, when the wind is blowing I throw them in clear water, the smallies hammer them.  I also like throwing the  #4 in line Mepp spinners in firetiger for smallies after the spawn.  Haven't had much luck with firetiger colored cranks though.

A Firetiger inline spinner with a gold blade is my go to bait for trout on overcast days.  I could be wrong but I would think it would be a good color anytime you'd throw something chartreuse.  Those bright colors really stand out in murky water.

I generally throw them in murky water when the perfered forage is craws. I also love the little bomber square bill craw back chart belly.

Ive never had much luck on firetiger crankbaits but can catch a bass or two everynow and then on a firetiger spinnerbait.

anytime you have a perch forage base the fire tiger is a good option, I personally dont use it very much but I did just get outfished by my brother using it. hmm...
