What's every ones favorite swim jig trailer? What size trailer on what size swim jig?

I have been liking the Skinny Dipper by reaction innovations Im pretty sure it's 4.5 maybe 5 inches long.. Trimmed down to what I think is appropriate.. I don't really throw any swim jigs above 3/8 oz but do own some dirty jigs 1/2 oz..

I like to see what every body else's favorite or favorite at this point in time.. it Seems like swim jigs are the hot topic on this forum right now

I'm fishing a 3/8 oz NorthStar Original Swim Jig with the Shell Cracker trailer. I also fish Seibert Outdoors

swim jig (Elite Series) in both 1/4 and 3/8 oz. Other trailers I recommend: Rage Tail Menace & Single Tail

Grub; Lake Fork Tackle Live Magic Shad; back half of the GYCB Swimming Senko and MegaStrike 3" Fat

Shad.

I've got 2. First is the Berkley havoc subwoofer and the 2nd is a Rage Tail Shell cracker or even a Rage Tail Menace

My favorite is the strike king heavy cover swim jig....basically because it's the only kind I've ever used but it flat out catches fish....and as trailers go, I like either a matching rage craw with a tiny bit of its back trimmed off, a fat Albert grub in pearl, watermelon red, and chartreuse pearl...or a new one I've been using is a berkley havoc pit boss chunk...it sounds weird but I've caught a lot of fish like that

Been fishing NorthStar original swim jig in 5/16oz and really like the Kinami 4 inch single tail grubs.

I have been trying Rage Tail single tail grub as well as the Menace and having pretty good luck so far. Especially with the single tail grub.

Been wanting to try some of the Reaction Innovations Little Dippers.

The Eeliminator is another trailer presentation I use on larger profile jigs and also when a longer profile is needed. This isn't just for swimming presentations, it works well as a flipping/pitching or ledge jumping set-up. I remove approx 3/4" from the head of the Eeliminator and thread it up the hook with the tail pointing upward toward the hook point. IMO, it's the style and amount of tail WHIP that helps trigger the strike.

That looks killer Steve!

On the menace twin tail, which you you recommend the tails to me verticals or horizontal with the jig?

I am going to order some in the Bluegill pattern next payday. They look more like a crappie and may match my new jig to a T

rc06, for brim or baitfish pattern vertical and for craw pattern horizontal. Both will catch fish but in a nice bite they'll normally show a preference especially swimming in shallow conditions. Normally in shallow conditions, a predator is more likely to be attracted and attacking from the side... so the side profile becomes more important to attempt to match a bait they're most interested in at that time. A Vertical or horizontal tail profile and action will be translated as Bait fish or Craw easier.

Those swing impacts are sweet. I have been using the small one as a trailer and the larger one as a swimbait. Incredible action on these things.

Do you cut them down any or leave them full size?

Have you tried the Little Dipper?

I just picked up the shellcrackers and rigged them on my swim jigs.  I was the only one today not catching dinks.  It was hilarious to watch my friend try to catch a bass that was right in front of him only to have it take my bait as I swam it passed his!!!!  So far so good!!
