lightsout Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Title says it all. I figure it may be something that the bass havent seen before. If so, other than a dropshot how do you like to rig em'? Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 yes I have. It works. We have a fish around here, mostly in creeks and streams called a sculpin. Basically a gobie. I ds and shaky them. It does work. Quote
Super User Raul Posted June 4, 2010 Super User Posted June 4, 2010 A bait doesn 't have to mimick anything in particular a bass could find to eat where it lives to be effective. I use a lot of 'dad baits in ponds that have no 'dads ( never have and never will have ) and they catch fish. Quote
lightsout Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Obviously your right about that raul. I was just wondering if anyone actually had any outside the box uses that I wasnt aware of. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted June 4, 2010 Super User Posted June 4, 2010 Many northern lakes have sculpins, which are similar to gobies. And most fish are simply opportunistic - if it looks like food, it must be food, eat it. Quote

Super User iceintheveins Posted June 4, 2010 Super User Posted June 4, 2010 Sure they work. They are a fairly decent imitation of bullheads, which are common in just about all bass waters. Quote
