Hornytoad 10 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 what do you think?, i want something pretty affordable, but is durable, and catches fish. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Rapala DT series will give you the best in affordability, durability and will hook a lot of fish... Bagley's (if you can find them) are still killers for me. KB1s and BB2s, but durability is a concern. Catching Concepts are a cedar bait, but they are as good as any Bagley IMO - as far as I know, they are only available on ebay for about 10 bucks a pop, but they are super-durable. Quote
Super User Marty Posted May 31, 2010 Super User Posted May 31, 2010 I've done well on the original Shad Raps and have a great deal of confidence in them. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted May 31, 2010 Super User Posted May 31, 2010 Another vote for the original Shad Raps. Falcon Quote
hmongkidBee Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 man I love the rapala DT series, but I always lose them because the bill keeps coming off. Ticks me off. Quote

Blue Streak Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 The Rapala wood baits are great and so are the old Bagleys. I don't think the new ones are guite as good. Quote
Avalonjohn44 Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 bomber model "b" cranks. kill 'em on this lure in shallow flats. Excellent Baits! I forgot about them... They have been in the bargain bins at Cabella's and Gander recently. Quote
