southernfryedyankee Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Hello everyone I am a new member here and I am neither new to hunting or fishing. I was born in NY and used to do a lot of pier fishing and blue claw crabbing when I lived there. I moved from NY and moved down south in 97 where I have remained here ever since. I am a Father of 4 with another future sportsman on the way. I have never been much of a "fisherman" per say but have found myself quite bored when hunting season is not in effect. I recently discovered the intensity of bass fishin when I caught my very first bass last Wednesday and my son caught his very first bass the day before, needless to say we became addicted REEL FAST. I will add a few pics when I am done writing my intro. I hope that I will be a positive influence on this forum as I am on quite a few forums and my screen name (southernfryedyankee) precedes itself. I am mostly on firearm and knife forums and am slowly entering the realm of fishing forums. I look forward to learning and teaching all that I can from the other members here and hope that this forum will be just as full of knowledgeable and respectful members as all of the other forums I am on.
