Super User ww2farmer Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 I have caught "big" bass on everything I have every used. With a higher % of bigger ones coming on jigs, big crankbaits, frogs, and soft plastic craw/creature baits. BUT, day in, day out, year after year the #1 producer of "big" (around here 4-6 lbs) bass is a 5" senko. I don't know why, and I don't like it LOL, but I go with it cause I like catching big fish. 1 Quote
mjseverson24 Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 hollow body frogs in the north country produce some really large fish. next in line would be jigs. Mitch Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 Most of my big bass are on frogs, hollow belly swimbaits, or a jig. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 Chatter baits, big jigs, big swimbaits, wake baits.. and of course shinners Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted May 20, 2013 Super User Posted May 20, 2013 I'm going to go with shiners, crayfish, big worms, jigs, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits, in that order. A-Jay Quote
Sam Fisher Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Shiners or jigs but its all about your location Quote
