I put it on my reel a chronarch e6 the line you ask it's suffix 832 superline. I got the 40lb first cast I mean WoW 60 yards easy second cast a little longer third cast ....$&@;:/-@&$;:/-/:;$();$/&/&-@- this is not a birds nest ,,,this is a catchers mitt it's soooooooo deep my kids are on the ground laughing my oldest girl tells the youngest,( put the rod down and walk away). This sucks so bad I think I was crying I wanted to cuss but its Sunday.and in the back of my head I hear.... You should've went to church....@&&$$);(://&$(-/& WOW Quote

Just cause you got the toys don't mean you can play. I felt like the guy who trolls deep diving crankbaits in the shallows......stupid hooks lol. Quote

I only use spinning gear and have no problem keeping up and catching fish. But, to each his own. Just keep workin' that reel and you'll be fine. Quote

If you're just starting out on baitcasters, I'd learn how to throw using mono first. I used Big Game to start out 12lb. It won't hurt as much in the pocket. 1 Quote
