Daiwa Lexa 100 And Light Baits

So, those of you with experience using the Daiwa Lexa 100, could you tell me how it casts weightless texas rigs? Or weightless wacky rigged senko style baits? I've noticed a real disparity in some reviews, saying it's great for light stuff and some saying it's not so great for such use. The Tackle Tour review said it wasn't so great in that dept. I'm curious because it has an A7075 aluminum spool and my Curado E7's also have a spool made of that material and it casts weightless texas rigs just fine. And I like the Lexa's price point compared to some other current production reels.

It will cast heavy weightless plastics fine, very similar to the Curado. Smaller, lighter weightless plastics, not so much. I thoroughly enjoy TackleTour, but I think we need to keep in mind when reels such as the Lexa are reviewed regarding casting light baits, the comparison used is generally "The Pixy"

A weightless Senko isn't all that light. The 10" worms I throw feel quite a bit lighter in comparison.  So far I've had no problem throwing the weightless worms on any reel I have tried them on.  That does not include a Lexa, but does include several models of Daiwas plus the Gen 1 STX that goes to Florida each time with me.  It is also a magnetic only brake reel.  While there the 10" weightless worm is my main lure of choice given how and where my brother-in-law and I fish.
