rizzo777 Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 I heard there's good fishing there but does anyone have any info about this lake? I tried to Google map it andiI can't find the place. Thanks Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted May 12, 2013 Super User Posted May 12, 2013 Never heard of it and I'm 10 minutes from gasport it might be the quarry that a lot of kids jump and swim in but I'm almost certain it's all posted up because my students that go there to jump in and swim usually get tickets lol. rizzo777 Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 Yea I'm trying to find ponds again this year, my favorite spot billo rd in Lancaster was bought out and they are charging everyone with trespassing now. I didn't try the Albion quarry yet because its too far. I see some huge mini lakes off of the 90 and route 5 in Pembroke but not sure if its accessible. Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted May 12, 2013 Super User Posted May 12, 2013 The one in Albion has been good to me so far but that's only been once this season. They hit everything I mean rock bass were hammering top water frogs and bass and crappie hammered spinnerbaits. Ill try to find out bout mirror for ya my dad might know more. I know there are some out near sanborn can't remember the name just know its off lower mountain rd Quote
rizzo777 Posted May 12, 2013 Author Posted May 12, 2013 Yea the one in Sanborn is bond lake which is OK, very weedy. The ponds that look very good on Google maps are the ones in Pembroke off the 90. I wish I had a "secret" spot since I'm more in to quarries/ponds but all the ones I used to fish for years are now posted. Quote
rizzo777 Posted May 15, 2013 Author Posted May 15, 2013 The big ponds I was asking about is right near the kutter cheese factory off of route 5. Has anyone tried fishing there? 1 Quote
